Souleymane

One of our guards is Souleymane who is originally from Senegal. Despite working 12 hour days from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. six days per week and making an insanely low hourly wage, he is always positive and super helpful. He is a bright spot in our day!

The picture of him and I is at our dining room table. I am helping him to get a tourist visa to the United States...just the first stages as the wait is 165 days and then he will have an interview.

Yet another reminder of how fortunate we are in the US with so many things we take for granted.
